Birds don’t sing, they scream in pain

€30

This painting captures the overwhelming terror of mental illness. At its center, a large black bird towers over a small, vulnerable figure. The bird, a symbol of fear and anxiety, is both protective and menacing, encircling the childlike figure with its massive claws. The figure appears fragile, nearly consumed by the bird, reflecting the paralyzing grip of fear before the process of rebirth begins.

Series "By polar sun" reflects my personal journey of accepting bipolar disorder. Each piece adds another layer to the journey of transformation, offering glimpses of the struggle, rebirth, and ultimate emergence into light.
This series explores inner transformation, where fears are faced, traumas give wings, and hope emerges, even in darkness. It speaks to the courage of confronting uncertainty and the belief that, despite the shadows, the sun always lies ahead.
